We have integrated YouTube videos into our online offering, which are stored on YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in “extended data protection mode”, i.e. no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data mentioned in paragraph 2 be transmitted. We have no influence on this data transfer. The legal basis for the display of the videos is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, i.e. the integration only takes place with your consent.
When you visit the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the above-mentioned basic data such as IP address and timestamp are transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
The information collected is stored on Google servers, including in the USA. In these cases, the provider has stated that it has imposed a standard that corresponds to the former EU-US Privacy Shield and has promised to comply with applicable data protection laws when transferring data internationally.

We use Newsletter2Go as a service provider for sending our newsletters. In the course of your registration you agree that your entered data (gender, first name, last name and e-mail address) will be transmitted to Newsletter2Go. Please note the data protection provisions and general terms and conditions of Newsletter2Go. The legal basis for the storage of the data is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO). The registration system with an additional message containing a request for final registration (double-opt-in) ensures that the newsletter is explicitly desired by you. The confirmation of your registration is stored so that the Accreditation Council can prove it if necessary (cf. Art. 5 para. 2 DSGVO). We use your data exclusively for sending the newsletter.
You can unsubscribe at any time and thus revoke your consent to data processing. For the purpose of unsubscribing, you will find a corresponding link in each newsletter. Furthermore, it is also possible to unsubscribe directly on the website of the Accreditation Council or to unsubscribe from the newsletter by sending a message to akr@akkreditierungsrat.de. The Accreditation Council will then delete all stored data immediately.
If you send us an e-mail, personal data is entered on an expressly voluntary basis (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

We delete the personal data that we receive by e-mail as soon as the storage is no longer necessary for the purpose pursued by you or in connection with administrative processes triggered by it and the retention obligations applicable for this.
The secrecy of telecommunications also protects the content of your e-mails from unauthorised access and processing. We can ensure compliance with this for the area of the Accreditation Council. However, we would like to point out that data transmission via the Internet can generally be recorded by other Internet operators and users. Personal data is therefore only transmitted in encrypted form if possible.
Persons under the age of 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not request personal data from children and young people. We do not knowingly collect such data.
We do not use fully automated decision-making (including profiling) in accordance with Art. 22 DSGVO to process the data you provide to us.
In the event of violations of data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority in matters of data protection law is the State Data Protection Commissioner of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
