Structured evaluations

In accordance with Article 15 of the interstate study accreditation treaty, the work of the Foundation is evaluated externally on a regular basis and within a reasonable period of time. Article 14 of the Statutes of the German Accreditation Council provides for an external evaluation every five years with the participation of foreign experts.

In order to regularly review the quality objectives, the Head Office analyzes the feedback from the applicants on the following processing procedures after all processes have been completed:

  • Programme accreditation
  • System Accreditation
  • Alternative Procedures
  • Request for substantial change
  • Application for extension of accreditation deadlines
  • Application for approval of a bundle composition
  • Decisions of the Appeals Commission

The results are presented to the Accreditation Council in the Board’s annual Quality Reports. The Accreditation Council decides on measures and reviews their implementation.
