17 February 2022 – The Accreditation Council in dialog – The importance of qualification objectives for the accreditation of study programmes

The second edition of the format “The Accreditation Council in Dialogue”, which took place on February 17, 2022 on the “Topic of the Day: The Importance of Qualification Objectives for the Accreditation of Study Programs”, met with interest that far exceeded expectations with around 250 participants.

Under the moderation of Ms Jasmin Usainov (Head Office of the Accreditation Council), Professor Stefan Bartels (Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, professorial member of the Accreditation Council), Mr Daniel Irmer (student member of the Accreditation Council), Dr Michael Meyer (ASIIN) and Dr Alexander Weber (Programme Accreditation Coordinator at the Head Office of the Accreditation Council) exchanged views with the participants on the prominent role of the qualification goals of a study programme for the assessment of a study programme in accreditation.

On May 5, 2022, the third edition of “The Accreditation Council in Dialogue” will take place, then on the topic of “System Accreditation”. Further information on the event will be published here in due course.

  • The Accreditation Council in dialogue

    Since 2021, the Accreditation Council has been engaging in mutual exchange with universities through its “Accreditation Council in Dialogue” format. This format aims to address a wide range of topics, all of which are relevant to accreditation.

    Topics covered so far have included:

    – Cooperation with non-university institutions
    – Diversity of quality management systems – What leeway do universities have?
