At its 110th meeting on 21.09.2021, the Accreditation Council decided to limit the suspension of the duty of disclosure in accordance with § 28 of the specimen decree (MRVO) for corona-related essential changes in study programmes and QM systems until 01.10.2022.
This is based on the consideration (and hope) that normality could return in the summer semester of 2022 and that the higher education institutions can then decide, based on experience, which of the emergency regulations, especially in the area of digitalization, they would like to maintain or end. The resolution Drs. AR 97/2021 also stipulates that the content of the essential changes will be evaluated in the next regular reaccreditation of the study program, but by the end of 2024 at the latest.
The end date for the suspension of the duty of disclosure applies analogously to the provision under the old law in Clause 3.6.3 of the “Rules for the accreditation of study programmes and for system accreditation”.
