116. 117th meeting of the Accreditation Council
On 30/31/03/2023, the Accreditation Council convened for its 117th meeting in Berlin. As is tradition, representatives of the accreditation agencies also took part in the first meeting of the year. Agencies and the Accreditation Council discussed, among other things, the return to on-site visits and the handling of the data situation in small study programmes.
As a result, the Accreditation Council adopted the resolution that, with the elimination of corona-related restrictions, the on-site visit in the accreditation procedure is an on-site visit in presence. In system accreditation, one of two on-site visits can take place online.

Furthermore, the Accreditation Council decided to refrain from including key figures for individual semesters on the completion rate data sheet if the respective population n
< 10.

About us, the Accreditation Council has also
212 applications for programme accreditation, covering 550 study programmes, and
16 applications for system accreditation and one Alternative Procedures
were decided.
