Today you are receiving the 4th Newsletter of the German Accreditation Council.

Note on the 107th meeting of the Accreditation Council on 26 January 2021
This meeting is an unscheduled meeting that was set up in addition to the quarterly cycle in order to be able to deal appropriately with the high volume of applications expected for the 2020-2021 period. The intended treatment of initial/concept accreditation in FAQ
1.3 when the application is submitted eight weeks before the meeting does not apply to this unscheduled meeting.
Activity Report 2019
The Activity Report 2019 contains all current developments of the Accreditation Council, information on its activities, the resolutions it has passed and further information.

Changes on our homepage since the last newsletter was sent:

New FAQ 01.6 on “early application” Extension of FAQ 01.1.2: A higher education institution in the process of system reaccreditation retains the right to issue internal accreditations and award the Accreditation Council’s seal until the Accreditation Council’s decision.
FAQ 01.3 has been supplemented by a note on completed accreditation decisions.
The new FAQ 16.4 and 16.5 provide information on part-time study programmes.
We have updated FAQ 11.1, 11.2 and 11.3 on fee collection. The case fee will be charged for applications that were/will be submitted from 05.06.2020,
as an advance payment.
