Accreditation Council with new Chair
Professor Dr.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Bargstädt took over as Chair of the Accreditation Council on 27 January 2021. He had already been elected by postal vote at the end of 2020 following the
106. Meeting of the Accreditation Council.
He succeeds Professor Reinhold R. Grimm, who chaired the Accreditation Council for almost 14 years.

107th Meeting of the Accreditation Council
The Accreditation Council held its 107th meeting on January 26, 2021. Due to the pandemic, it also took place virtually. The Accreditation Council discussed
55 applications for programme accreditation, covering 145 study programmes, and
two applications for system accreditation were decided.

Call: Award for Quality Development
The Accreditation Council awards the prize for special achievements in quality development in the area of teaching and studies at the level of programs and QM systems, which can serve as inspiration for other higher education institutions. For the first time, higher education institutions can also nominate themselves for the Quality Development Award!
