Accreditation Council begins new term of office
The third term of office of the Accreditation Council began in the new year. The members, who have been appointed for the years 2026-2029 by the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) and the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (KMK), are now taking up their voluntary work at.

127th meeting of the Accreditation Council
On December 4, 2025, the Accreditation Council convened for its 127th meeting, which took place virtually.
The Accreditation Council has adopted a handout on the accreditation of alternative procedures, which can be found here.
About us, the Accreditation Council has also

134 applications for programme accreditation, comprising 284 study programmes, and
five applications for system accreditation were decided.

New Fee Regulations
The German Accreditation Council has received new Fee Regulations as of 01.01.2026.
