Great response
The event
“Qualitätsdialog 2021 – Dual study programs from the perspective of accreditation” took place on Monday, 21 June 2021. The response was great and almost 300 participants listened to the speakers and panellists, asked questions and engaged in the discussion.

The follow-up event to the Quality Dialogue dual
“Accreditation Council in Dialogue” is planned for Wednesday, 08 September 2021, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Award of the Prize for Quality Development 2021
On 22 June 2021, the Accreditation Council awarded the “Prize for Quality Development” for the second time as part of its
109. meeting awarded the “Prize for Quality Development” for the second time. Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences was recognized for its application for reaccreditation of the study program bundle “Social Work” (B.A.), “Early Education – Education and Upbringing in Childhood” (B.A.), “Counselling – Psychosocial Counselling in the Fields of Social Work / Social Pedagogy, Education and Upbringing” (M.A.) and
“Science Social Work” (M.A.). The jury particularly emphasized the strong interdisciplinarity, the implementation of new focal points, the online counselling in the curriculum as well as the variance and competence orientation of the examination procedures.

109. Meeting of the Accreditation Council
The Accreditation Council met for its 109th meeting on 22/23 June 2021. Due to the pandemic, it also took place virtually. The Accreditation Council discussed
148 applications for program accreditation, comprising 383 study programmes, and
6 applications for system accreditation were decided.
Furthermore, against the background of the Covid pandemic, the Accreditation Council modified its resolution
“Automatic extension of accreditation deadlines for the duration of the administrative procedure” (Drs. AR 109/2019) adopted on 22 November 2019. The “timely” application deadline has been brought forward by three months and postponed by one year. The deadline is now 30 September 2023. The corresponding resolution can be found here.
