108. Meeting of the Accreditation Council
The Accreditation Council met for its 108th meeting on March 16/17, 2021. Due to the pandemic, this meeting was again held virtually. The Accreditation Council discussed
92 applications for program accreditation, comprising 198 study programmes, and
two applications for system accreditation, including one condition fulfilment,
were decided.
In addition, the Accreditation Council extended the suspension of § 28 MRVO and clause 3.6.3 under the old law until 30 September 2021.

“Quality Dialogue 2021 – Dual Study Programs from the Perspective of Accreditation”: The second Quality Dialogue of the Accreditation Council will take place on 21 June 2021. Further information on the virtual event will follow and can be found here.
Prize for Quality Development
On 22 June 2021, the Accreditation Council will award the “Prize for Quality Development” for the second time. Five applications have been nominated for the prize.

Changes on our homepage since the last newsletter was sent:
New FAQ 17.1-7 on regulated professions. New FAQ 16.6-8 on the qualification objectives.
Extension of FAQ 01.4 on the application process, according to which changes to the study program concept must be communicated proactively after the application has been submitted.
New FAQ 02.2 on the question of how many inspections are required for a system accreditation procedure under the new law.
We have expanded the FAQ to include the section Questions on ELIAS
extended.
