124. Meeting of the Accreditation Council
On 18/19 March 2025, the Accreditation Council convened for its 124th meeting in Berlin. Traditionally, the Managing Directors of the Agencies also took part in parts of this first meeting of the year.
The Members of the Accreditation Council unanimously elected Prof. Bartosch, who as Vice President for Teaching, Studies and Teacher Training of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) is its representative on the Accreditation Council, as their Deputy Chairperson. Prof. Bartosch succeeds Prof. Dr. Holger Burckhart, for whose many years of commitment the Accreditation Council is greatly indebted.
Furthermore, the Accreditation Council has decided on
142 applications for programme accreditation, comprising 349 study programmes, as well as
five applications for system accreditation and
one application for fulfilment of conditions as part of an Alternative Procedures
were decided.
In addition, the Accreditation Council revised its resolution of 10.06.2022 on “Requirements for the publication practice of system-accredited higher education institutions” due to the amendment of the specimen decree (MRVO).
