Dear Mrs. ,

Today you are receiving the 5th Newsletter of the German Accreditation Council.

105. 105th meeting of the Accreditation Council
On 29 September 2020, the Accreditation Council convened for its 105th meeting. Due to the pandemic, it was held virtually – as was the 104th meeting. The Accreditation Council discussed

148 applications for program accreditations, which included 446 study programmes,
two applications for system accreditations,
the opening of two alternative procedures under the new law and the completion of three projects from the experimental clause under the old law as well as
the approval of the accreditation agency AHPGS in Germany.
Furthermore, the Accreditation Council has decided that extraordinary deadline extensions due to the Corona pandemic must be applied for at least three months before the expiry of the accreditation deadline. This applies to accreditations that expire on 30 September 2021.
