Florian Lamert

University of Duisburg-Essen and University of Freiburg

Florian Lamert (1996) is a student of economics (M.Ed.) at the University of Freiburg and a research assistant at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He has been intensively involved in quality assurance and development in the higher education sector for several years and has worked as an expert in numerous (inter)national procedures in this context. He is very familiar with program, system and alternative accreditation procedures.

In addition, Florian Lamert has experience in a variety of related areas of accreditation, including the development of study programs, the implementation of training seminars, the design of corresponding training formats and the (further) development of QM systems. Due to his background as a grammar school teacher, he is also very familiar with the legal particularities of this area of education. He also has a great personal interest in the field of vocational and academic further education.

As a long-standing member of the Student Accreditation Pool, Florian Lamert is a strong advocate of the student perspective in the area of teaching and learning. It is a central concern of his to not only think about quality development formally, but to consistently focus on the diverse study realities and concrete needs of students and to actively involve them in the discourse.

Florian Lamert sees his membership of the Accreditation Council as a responsible task and a valuable opportunity to provide impetus for equal opportunities and high-quality higher education.
