Prof. Dr. Christine Bescherer is Professor of Mathematics and Mathematics Didactics at the Ludwigsburg University of Education. She is currently the head of the Institute of Mathematics II and the Institute of Computer Science. From 2011 to 2018, she was Vice-Rector for Research, Early Career Development, IT Management and Continuing Education at the Ludwigsburg University of Education, which successfully completed the system accreditation process during this time. She was head of one of the projects as part of the teacher training quality campaign and several other projects on digitalization at the university and structural innovations. She is also a member of the German Society for University Didactics, the Society for Computer Science, the Society for Didactics of Mathematics and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
She accompanied the alternative procedure of Stuttgart Media University, Nürtingen-Geislingen University and Furtwangen University as a representative of the Accreditation Council.
